RIO Code: How does it work?
What is the RIO code?
The RIO code (Operator Identity Statement) is a unique identifier for each telephone number made up of 12 characters that any customer can request free of charge from their operator.
It allows number portability requests to be made between operators.
How do I get the RIO code for my mobile line?
You can retrieve the RIO code for your mobile line in two different ways:
- Option 1 : By sending a text messagegratuitement ,from your mobile line, with the following content« RIO » au 1234
- Option 2 : By calling the 1234 from the mobile line in question
You will then need to communicate this code to the new operator who will then be responsible for transferring the line, putting it into service and terminating the contract with inwi.
